Excitement as Students Return for 2024 Academic Year 2024!
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School is once again filled with the sound of eager footsteps and the buzz of excitement as students return for the start of the academic year.
After a well-deserved Christmas break, the school eagerly welcomed back students with open arms. Parents and guardians accompanied their children, some nervously clutching backpacks, others confidently reconnecting with friends after the holiday hiatus.
Mr. David Graham, Assistant Principal Religious Education expressed his delight at the energy and vitality the students brought with them on the first day. “It’s always heartwarming to see the eager faces of our students returning for a new academic year. We are committed to providing them a nurturing and enriching environment where they can grow academically and personally.”
The school has planned an exciting array of activities for the upcoming year, ranging from educational excursions to cultural events that reflect the unique heritage of the Torres Strait.
