In the event of a major and/or critical incident which impacts Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School on either Thursday Island and or Hammond Island Campus, regularly updated information will be posted on the Home page of this and the Catholic Education website: www.cns.catholic.edu.au
Should it be necessary to close the school in the event of an emergency, such as a cyclone, information will also be sent to local media.
The school community should listen to 4MW (1260 AM).
In the event of an emergency we will communicate with parents via alerts on the Skoolbag App as to the course of action we are taking to ensure safety of our students.
