Sporting Schools Program
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart takes part in the Sporting Schools Program which funds ‘taster’ lessons in a wide variety of sports to engage students. Sports provided under this program include AFL, Basketball, AusKick.
Inter-School Sport
Senior and Upper Junior School students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of inter-school sport competitions throughout the year. Sports include, but are not limited to; basketball, netball and touch football. Students meeting strict criteria may be selected for Districts and Regional Sports competition.
Carnivals
Throughout the year, students participate in various sports carnivals that bring excitement and teamwork. Our school holds the Athletics Carnival showcasing track and field events, the Swimming Carnival and Cross Country held on Hammond Island. Our students showcase their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit. These vibrant events promote physical fitness, school spirit, and a sense of achievement.
