At Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, we are committed to providing a high-quality education that nurtures successful learners, confident and creative individuals, and active and informed citizens. To achieve this, our dedicated teachers have adopted the latest educational standards, and we are currently in the process of transitioning from Australian Curriculum Version 8 to Version 9, beginning with the subject of Maths in 2023.
The Australian Curriculum is thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the future. By embracing this curriculum, we aim to foster a love for learning, cultivate critical thinking skills, and encourage creativity and self-expression in all aspects of our students’ lives.
Through our commitment to the Australian Curriculum, we strive to provide an enriching learning environment that empowers our students to reach their full potential and make meaningful contributions to society. We believe in the importance of equipping our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate an ever-changing world with confidence and a sense of purpose.
As we continue our journey with Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum, we remain dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in our teaching practices, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education and are prepared to excel in their personal and professional lives. Together with our students, parents, and the wider community, we look forward to embracing the opportunities and possibilities that the Australian Curriculum brings to our learning community at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.
